You've built, run or operated something - even outside business. You know what it means to own an outcome, not just analyse one.

You talk about failure with clarity, not excuses. You've been wrong before and it made you sharper. Ego is negotiable - coachability isn't.

Sector insight
You understand the health and fitness landscape - who the operators are, where the friction lives, why previous solutions haven't cracked it.

Timing conviction
You can answer "why now?" with genuine force. AI, biometric adoption, consumer behaviour shifts - you have a clear thesis on what has changed and why it matters.

We don't assess this from self-report. We observe it across the application, the video, the intro call and the discovery sprint. Show us - don't tell us.

What are you building - and why does it have to exist?

What's your unfair advantage?
Why you? Not why anyone - why specifically you. This could be domain expertise, a network, lived experience, a technical edge, or access to a distribution channel no one else has. Be specific and be honest - we're not looking for humility and we're not looking for bravado. We're looking for clarity. Max 150 words.

Tell us about something you've built or led outside of a job description.
This doesn't have to be a business. It could be a project, a team, a community, a campaign - anything where you owned the outcome. We want to know what happened when things didn't go to plan, and what it taught you. Strong answers show self-awareness, not just achievement. Max 200 words.

We want to work with founders who've done their homework. Name something specific - an operator relationship, a capability, a network, a speed of execution - that you need and believe Vytal can provide. Generic answers ("access to funding and mentorship") tell us you haven't thought this through. Strong answers show you understand what we do and have identified a real gap in your own toolkit.
